"Green for All" creates jobs in Buffalo NY

In Buffalo, Green For All is working with local leaders to develop Green Jobs for Buffalo, a program that will combine education, job training, and job placement while contributing to the revitalization of low-to moderate-income neighborhoods.

Green Jobs Buffalo will develop career ladders in emerging employment sectors — with a focus on energy-efficiency and renewable-energy retrofitting of affordable housing, regional food system development, and environmental stewardship — and will establish certification steps throughout the job-training process.

GE Creating Jobs, Increasing Exports

Today, President Obama traveled to Schenectady, New York where he visited a General Electric (GE) plant building high-tech wind turbines and discussed the importance of spurring innovation at home and selling our goods and services abroad.

As the President said today “America is still home to the most creative and most innovative businesses in the world,” and we must harness our spirit of innovation and creativity to compete in the global economy.
