Stimulus: Arkansas Weatherization Program Receives $2.3M Grant

Arkansas was chosen to receive more than $2.3 million in additional stimulus funding to build on the state’s success under the Recovery Act’s weatherization program.

As of June 30, Arkansas had weatherized more than 2,000 homes under the Weatherization Program.

The Weatherization Program helps people of low and moderate income save money by using less energy. They start by conducting an energy audit in the home to identify the most cost-effective improvements.
