The Wilmington Veterans Administration Medical Center have received $5.8 million in stimulus funds for upgrades and construction and an additional $7.1 million for two other significant construction projects.
The nearly $6 million dollars will provide funding to replace a service elevator, upgrade the secondary electrical distribution system, upgrade the heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system and upgrade and replace the Boiler Plant equipment.
